From the top of the CAC I saw this sunset and it made me think of the Cyc. I haven't had much experience working with the Cyc and creating Sunrise and Sunsets on the Cyc aways seemed really fun and whenever I see a Sunset, I envision it on a Cyc.This one paeticularly caught my attention because of he brilliant Amber fading into the deep, dark blue, with a hint of green in between. Something I'd like to try is messing witht eh Cyc and see if I can recreate that green glow found in the mixing amber and blue, or if it's a phenomenon only found it nature.
Oh weird! I never thought about the mix of green in a sunset before...it's not a normal color we associate with the blending of light with a sunset or sunrise. But it makes sense with that color palette of amber and blue a little thought. hmmm...I wonder if that's something an audience would pick up on or react to if they saw it in theater?
