Blog 2: Puff of Light

I snapped this picture while I was driving back home to Los Angeles. The sudden brightness that emerged from the clouds caught my attention. The contrast between light and dark in the sky was calming and very beautiful. I couldn't stand and enjoy it for long but I was fortunate enough to grab my phone and snap a photo while at a stop sign.

The sun's intensity filled a part of the cloud like a puff of light. My focus was directed to the source of light almost immediately. The combination between the shades of blue and grey among the sky made something about what I was looking at not normal... at least I like to think that. The shadows that covered earth surface distinctly separated light and dark and that was fascinating to see at the moment for some reason. Perhaps it was because it felt Godly, awakening, or refreshing.
