Oh yeah! Bought this bad boy this weekend. I knew the ornament would look dope lit up, but I wasn't aware of what would happen to the light emmited onto the wall! I wasn't thinking that far ahead.... Lol! So I totally thought of our lighting class and GOBOS! The light on the wall around the sphere has sooo much texture. There's a lot of swirling movement going on, but the overall quality of the light is feathery to me. It's as if a pillow exploded during a sexy pillow fight....Lol. Interesting commentary :) Great picture and great example of light being reflected off of several surfaces, creating that feathery look! Really neat! It's interesting to think about the source of theatrical light coming from the center and reflecting off of the walls/legs etc. We also focus the light from the outside towards the stage. It would be interesting to switch it around!
