This was the red eye flight from California to CHicago to go visit and take care of my dad and his affairs due to his passing. I've always known that Chicago was a city full of lights but when I saw this, it just took my breath away. There was a time while I was in the plane where nothing wasn't lit on the ground and I just thought that light is so amazing. Those lamps can't be very big or the strongest but the fact that we can see them all so clearly is just amazing. Also the moon in the first picture looked so cool juxtaposed with the city lights.
You are an amazing human being, you know that? Just thought I'd mention it. And these pictures of all those sparkly little reminders of all the people in the world are truly breathtaking. And that's only one little section of one tiny city. Really beautiful!
