Went to get a drink with my brother in Downtown Los Angeles at this place called Villians Tavern this past weekend. The bar had some interesting old looking lights, which complimented the antique theme of the place. I snapped this picture before I ordered some floral berry cocktail and went around the corner to sit in the dimly lit space as a band played some tunes.
Great picture! I LOVE Villains! Such a neat little place with great antique lighting! I love it when food/drink establishments stick to a theme all the way through the lighting decor. There is a little bar called Davey Waynes in Hollywood that is completely 70's themed, down to every last light bulb. I just love it when places are completely designed. I'd love to hear even more about the lighting made you feel, was it too dark? Too cliche with the antique theme? Go a bit further with your next post! Great!
