So I have two pictures taken at the same time by the Arc. The first is how the light was affected by me being in the shadows of the arc and the other was me in the backfield without anything to shadow over me. I love them both so much that I included them together. The sunset has always been pretty but that day was spectacular. The light seemed to hit the clouds in a way that made them more white and even darker in some of them. You got to see the lovely golden hue that the sunset sort of washes onto it and you get a lovely contrast of shadows and enlightened objects all at once. It was sort of a majestic paradise.
Wow, I think these two pictures go great together! The first one, being so shadowed, really made it seem like the sun was a lot lower in it's setting process! But the contrast of that second very bright and golden image made me realize the sun was higher than I thought. The clouds are simply stunning and I love the golden hue highlighting the grass and surroundings. The gradation of the grays and silvers in the clouds are also quite stunning, they look fake! Great pics!
